Blubberings from a little bug named Lainey

We went to a pumpkin patch today. Like last year, we came right before Halloween when most of the pumpkins are gone, but my brother and I still had a great time walking around and sitting on the pumpkins as well as riding in the wagon!

Lainey Bug riding the Bug Bulldog!

I went to my cousin Clayton's birthday party today. He was such a cute 4 year old cowboy!

I had a couple of "firsts" today at the party. It was my first time to ride a pony.

And my first time to hit a baseball...

but it definitely was not my first time eating birthday cake!

We watched the Dawgs play tonight at Ms. Wendy's house. Well, I didn't actually watch much football, but I had a blast walking the neighborhood, swinging in the hammock and baking cookies.

Granddaddy tries to get me to say "What's up, Doc!" when I eat a carrot, but I never will. Well, today, while I was eating this carrot, I proudly said, "Doc, what's up!"
I got a little confused, I guess.

I went to the fair for the very first time tonight. I rode lots of rides including the ferris wheel, which I rode with my dad.

The guy at the train told me to hold on to the side bars at the beginning, and I took him very seriously and did not let go until the ride was over!

Aunt Jeannie, baby Atticus, Max, Aunt Francie, and baby Maddie came for a visit!

John Stanley and I enjoyed pushing Atticus around while he was here.

My favorite thing to do with Atticus was tuck him in with a blanket when he was laying on the floor.

Max and I had a great time playing outside while he was here.

Max is really into balls and carried one around almost the whole time.

Max really liked my slide, too. One time, he just climbed up and sat at the top for about 10 minutes enjoying the scenery.

I took my baby outside to play on my swingset today, and I told her right before she went down the slide, "Its fun to slide, Baby. Baby, don't be scared. God is with you."
