December 25, 2007 -- this is what my den looked like:
Here I am in mom and dad's bed waiting to go see the wonderful things that filled my den.
My parents had a blockade up to make sure that John Stanley and I didn't get a peek before they were ready!
As I ran into the Christmas morning den, there it was - the toy I had been waiting for since September when I saw my mom purchase it at a consignment sale and put it in our trunk. It was my scooter!!! And it was a glorious sight!
And it did not disappoint in the least!
Don't get me wrong; there were lots of other great things that filled my den like an umbrella
and this tent
and some new dvds.
I even got a stocking full of good stuff, too, including a Barbie toothbruth
and Cinderella Pez.
But there is nothing like that highly anticipated toy sitting in your house waiting just for you on Christmas morning! Merry Christmas, everyone!
